Milk from Cow to Table Full Month Course

Service Description

Learn all about dairy cattle in this month-long course! We will cover raising and training dairy cattle, calving, safe milk handling, how to make butter, and more! We will also provide hands-on milking experience - both by hand and by machine! If you have ever wanted to learn how to milk a cow and care for dairy cattle, this is the course for you. This course will be held on Tuesdays from 8-10 a.m. April 4th, 11th, 18th, and 25th. Limit of 10 participants per course. This course is for all ages! Adults are welcome! Children need to be at least 5 years old and have the ability to listen for extended periods of time. All students must be gentle and respectful of animals at all times. Students 8 years and older may be dropped off, but parents are always welcome to stay. Price for this course is $100 A $50 deposit is required to reserve your space. Fees are nonrefundable within 14 days of the first class. Because of the limited availability of this course, we will not be able to offer refunds for last minute problems or illnesses. If 2 or more classes are missed, a one-on-one session to cover some of the information that was missed will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Cancelation Policy

Cancellations made within 14 days of classes will not be refunded. If we must cancel due to weather or other extenuating circumstances, the class will be rescheduled, or your payment may be used towards an alternate class of your choosing for up to 6 months.
